Career Details of Saikhom Mirabai Chanu
Chanu Saikhom Mirabai got her first major breakthrough to “2014 CommonWealth Games“.
She had won the silver medal in the 48 Kg weight category.
After that,
In 2016,
Charu managed to get qualified for “2016 Rio Olympics” in the women’s 48 Kgs category.
But, Unfortunately she didn’t win in the event.
FInally in 2017,
She won the Gold medal in the Women’s 48 kg category for a record breaking 194 kg lift in total, in the “2017 World Weightlifting Championships”

Later in 2019 itself,
Mirabai broke her own personal record of weightlifting by lifting 203 Kgs out of which 88 Kgs in Snatch and 115 Kgs in Clean & Jerk in just four months in 2020 to win the Gold medal in the “2020 Senior National Weightlifting Championships“.
